ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Dave serves as General Manager of Hi-Speed’s Millington, TN and Little Rock, AR locations. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing operations, driving process improvement, and inspiring vision for Hi-Speed and its operations team members. He is committed to empowering employees to help them grow and develop while maximizing their ability to exceed customer expectations.
PREVIOUS EXPERTISE
Dave has more than 25 years of professional experience as an operations executive. Prior to joining Hi-Speed, he held multiple leadership positions at Ferrellgas including account manager, general manager and, ultimately, director of operations. Dave joined the Hi-Speed family in August of 2023 and is enjoying working in its innovative environment alongside his highly motivated, goal-oriented team members.
EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT
A native Memphian, Dave graduated from Kingsbury High School. He attended both Rochester College (Rochester, MN) and State Technical Institute (Memphis, TN) and holds an A.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to earn a B.S. in Business Administration from Warren National University (Agoura Hills, CA). His career highlights include everything from Rookie of the Year and Chairman’s awards to positions on leadership councils and opportunities to serve as a mentor. “I feel like everything I’ve done in my career has led me to this new position at Hi-Speed because it perfectly pairs my mechanical aptitude with my sales and operations expertise,” he notes. “I enjoy work that is both technically challenging and allows us to solve problems for our clients.”
WHAT SETS HIM APART
Dave believes that strong relationships and strong metrics can help companies operate at peak performance. “We have over 40 metrics we use that help us maximize our efficiency and effectiveness on customer projects,” he says. “Our goal is to exceed customer expectations and outserve the competition. In doing so, we achieve success for our customers and for Hi-Speed alike.” When Dave’s not working, he enjoys spending time at home or at the lake with his wife, Sandi, their two sons and two grandchildren.
